This beautiful lab grown Sapphire is a pale blue, almost colorless but with a touch of purple. It certainly does look like ice, hence the name we've given it: Arctic Blue.
Sapphire has been popular throughout history, and that trend doesn't seem to be changing. Sapphire is a mineral called corundum, and it doesn't only come in the well-known royal blue. Corundum can be an array of colours and shades, including white, and red corundum is Ruby. Sapphires and Rubies have a hardness of 9, making it the hardest coloured stone after diamond, and is well suited for daily wear.
Lab created gems are in every way identical to the gems mined from the earth: chemically, physically, and of course, visually. Labour intensive work and potentially unethical practices are replaced with labs, recreating the conditions found in nature. This also means more freedom for the purchaser to own a gem the size and quality they desire for a reasonable price.
