The raw material for this pretty Amethyst came from Montezuma. Its richly saturated color is perfect for this ambitious cut, reminiscent of a chrysanthemum flower, and really showing off the depths of the petals.
The flower design is called “Crisantemo”, and was designed by Marco Voltolini.
The 'fingerprint' look you can see in the photos are actually inclusions, and are much less visible when observed in hand.
The family of Quartz is varied and very well-known. Amethyst is one of the most popular Quartz and comes in shades ranging from the pale rose-lilac Rose de France to deep violet, and even the lesser common 'Green Amethyst', also known as Prasiolite.
